Day 120 on my journey: I’m almost there…!

Like I said before my husband agreed I could get my full salary in my own account. The last few days we’ve had some heated discussions about how we should spend our money.

I understand his side of the story and I wish he would understand mine. Slowly but surely I feel that he’ll agree to me having some sessions with Joan. I really want him to agree to that because I do not want any arguing about how much that is going to cost.

I think I was able to get him to understand that I am a grown woman who needs to have some control over her own money, if not full control. He wants us to do everything together, but he is always the one with the final say about what happens to our money. This is frustrating to me, because I hate being late to pay for our bills and he doesn’t really care.

End of the day we are behind on one of our bills for months and I just can’t seem to get it through to him that it’s important to pay your bills. Although after our talks he seems more open to my point of view.

Our main problem is that he is focused more on the future and I look more into what we need now. We have not been able to get a balance.

He’s afraid I’ll misuse our money and I’m afraid he’ll loose it all in his endeavors to make more money for the future.

Anyway I am this close (holding my fingers really close together) to getting my sessions with Joan.

I really need her to take me under her wings and help me overcome my fears, build my business and marketing skills, because I do want to be in business for myself and even though I am smart enough I feel I lack the determination and ability to sell anything…

Day 47 on my journey: It’s not about money!

I listened to a teleclass on this day in the BYMM program. The people that shared their stories really showed that it’s not about money. It’s all about emotions and to be more specific, the blocked emotions, that need to be expressed and never fully get expressed.

I have noticed that I really need to take care of my disappointment issues. I’ve been so busy on Facebook, Twitter, working, taking care of the kids and some other stuff that I haven’t “found” the time yet to sit down and work on these issues.
Am I procrastinating? Yes!

I think there’s a fear deep within me that it won’t work and I’ll be disappointed again. Like I’m stuck in a vicious circle.

I really believe that this is my biggest issue at the moment.

Wish my luck “finding” the time to work through it.

Day 32 on my journey: Emotions are so powerful…!

On this day I listened to the audio “Get Your Emotional Issues Out of the Way”. I wasn’t able to listen to all of it, but I already learned that our lives are basically ruled by our believes and emotions.

I really love the way Joan explains every thing and I so hope that I’ll be able to overcome these emotions that I am acting out through my money. I can’t wait to start making some significant improvements. I’m sure that with the help of Joan and her program I will come a long way.

“A bald guy in a blue house” commented on one of my posts. He is a great guy. He has started the “Lawttery of Attraction” and is basically giving away money. Every week a lucky winner can win $50. He is hoping he’ll be able to increase that amount in future. You can find a link to his site on the right under “Who wants free money?”. I wish him all the best.

He is recommending books by Joe Vitale. I’ve heard of Mr. Fire, but have never read any of his books. I somehow don’t feel attracted to doing so. I don’t know why.

He is right about giving though. What you give you receive three-fold the bible says and it’s true. I’ve noticed an increase in income when I started giving people tips. Something I didn’t do before because I thought I couldn’t afford it.

Day 9 on my journey: Going to make more money…!

I have some great news. Starting tomorrow I’ll be working some extra hours, two to be precise. That means I’ll be working 4 hours a day. I just realized that I didn’t ask what the pay is. It’s the same employer and they normally pay me per hour, so I just assumed it will be the same. I’m gonna ask anyway…

Ever since I started working with Joan’s material I have been able to attract more money. I am so grateful to her. Her book “Build Your Money Muscles (BYMM)” is just great. My money muscles are increasing in strength and with the program I’m doing now, I’ll be a body builder in a few months…:-)
This is a very exiting time for me, because I am really curious to find out what feelings come up when I start receiving this extra money. In the past I just had to spend it, don’t ask me why. I would already plan how I would buy all kinds of stuff and how much I needed those things.

I can be proud of myself though. I received some extra money this month and like I said I already planned how I was going to spend it, but instead of buying what I wanted to buy (a pdf on how to design beautiful websites) I did a bit more research and realized that I already have so much information available to be able to design some nice sites. So I decided I don’t really need the book.
The money is still in my account and I don’t have the urge to spend it.

I did buy a new domain name for a site I am planning to use for a new business I have in mind. I bought the domain name, because I didn’t want anybody else to snatch it before me. And before I bought it, I did some research. It looks like a good business idea. Although you never know until you actually start.

Day 3 on my journey: I’m on track…

Even though I just started the program I feel like I’m on track. At the moment I am listening to a tele class that was recorded on September 30th. It’s great to listen to Joan talk to people and give advice.

I spoke to a co-worker today and I realized that I’ve already come quite a long way from where I used to be. I am connecting more to other people now and I’ve noticed that I’ve also attracted more money. Money is attached to people so that makes prefect sense to me.

It’s one thing to know things in theory but another to really experience them and I’m really grateful and happy to see the changes in me.

There are a few exercises I still have to do and I will do them in the coming days. As a result of these exercises I will know exactly where I stand and what needs to be done to move forward.

Day 2 on my journey: I’m off to a great start…

Like I said yesterday I was going to start keeping track of my cash flow and I did. I set up my excel sheet (using OpenOffice by the way) and I’ve recorded my spending for yesterday and today. It feels good. It makes me feel more in control of my money. It really feels great to see how much I have left and where some of it went.

Before I would have a vague idea of what I’d done with my money.

Another thing that was suggested is to get a prosperity buddy. Someone to encourage and who encourages you.

I found a buddy through the group on facebook! And I think it was meant to be, because I had been reading her posts and kind of felt like we would make a good team. So I got a response from her to my general buddy request and send her a friend request. Let’s see how it all works out. I really hope we get along great together and that we’ll be able to help each other succeed.

I’m about to go and listen to some more of the audio and do some reading…

So the journey continues tomorrow…
